Three of Everything
"The inspiration for 'Three of Everything' remains somewhat of a mystery. I encountered a photograph years ago, and its image stayed with me, a persistent visual echo. After painting a series of fig still lifes, I found myself drawn back to this image, compelled to give it new life in oil on panel. I was fascinated by the strong lines of the vases, the way the light revealed the glass, and the deep, saturated colors. This painting is an attempt to understand that initial spark of inspiration, to translate a resonant image into my own artistic expression."
